A rapper associated with XXXTentacion was targeted in a shooting over the weekend.
A 16-year-old associate of the late rap star XXXTentacion is fighting for his life, after being shot in the head during a brazen shooting in Pompano Beach, Florida.
C-Glizzy, born Christian Moore, was shot by an unknown assailant as he was exiting a convenience store on MLK Boulevard on Sunday (June 16).
The gunman managed to escape in the chaos.
UPDATE: @CGlizzyofficial’s mom tells me he is heavily sedated and not talking right now, but she is expecting and hoping that he’ll survive the gunshot wound he sustained to the head. C-Glizzy’s brother and a friend tried to rush the teenager to the hospital, but lost control of their car and slammed into a wall, as they approached an exit-ramp on I-95.
The trio eventually made it to Broward Health North, where the 16-year-old underwent emergency surgery to remove a bullet from his head.
The rapper’s family said the rapper is sedated, and hopeful he will survive the shooting.
Local police are currently hunting for a suspect.
In June of 2018, XXXTentacion was shot and killed outside a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
Suspects Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome, Dedrick Williams, and Robert Allen are facing charges, including murder and armed robbery with a firearm.
